Exploring the Kenai and Alaskan Wilderness

Day trips to Homer, Seward, and Kenai will give you insight into the diversity of Alaska and the Kenai Peninsula. You will travel north from the Kenai river valley through flat wetlands with scrub spruce to the mountains with stands of Sitka Spruce forest and clear mountain lakes to Seward for all the beauty of Resurrection Bay.
On another day venture south along the coast line of Cook Inlet to Kachemak Bay and Homer. These trips often turn out to be adventures on their own with spectacular panoramic scenery and wildlife viewing of moose, bear, birds and other small game.

Alaska does not have many miles of road but it offers some of the most scenic travel in the world if one takes the time to enjoy it.
